Terms of Service

Version 2026-01 · Last updated 7 July 2026

1. Who we are

The Greyguard Compass assessment ("the Service") is operated by SERED CONSULTING LTD, a company registered in England and Wales, registered office 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom ("Sered", "we", "us"). Contact: info@greyguardconsulting.com.

2. Intellectual property

The Service, its content, the assessment questions, question bank, scoring logic, guidance, glossary, methodology, and generated reports are protected by copyright, database rights, and other intellectual property rights owned by Sered Consulting Ltd. "Greyguard" and "Compass" are trademarks of Sered Consulting Ltd.

You may not, without our prior written permission: copy, extract, scrape, republish, redistribute, translate, adapt, resell, sublicense, or reuse any part of the assessment questions, question bank, or content, in whole or in part, for any purpose including training machine-learning models.

3. Permitted use

You may use the Service to assess your own organisation. Reports generated for you may be shared internally and with your professional advisers. You may not use the Service to build a competing product or to extract our questions or methodology.

4. Accounts and access

Access to the full question bank requires you to sign in and accept these Terms. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in link confidential.

5. No legal advice

The Service is provided for informational purposes only. It is not legal advice and does not create a solicitor–client relationship. Verified Reports include qualified compliance and legal review as described at the point of purchase.

6. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is". Sered's aggregate liability arising out of your use of the free Service is limited to £100. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to accounts that breach these Terms, including any attempt to copy or extract the question bank.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Material changes will be signalled by a new version number and may require you to re-accept.
